A long-standing company operating in the retail industry is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a Legal Coordinator for their Nicosia based team. The successful candidate will have previous working experience in a similar role, ideally within the retail industry. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Preparation of License Agreements, Addendums, Letters and/or other legal documents relevant to the tenants of the company’s properties and suppliers based on the templates and set of guidelines of the company.
  • Management and coordination between the General Manager and the tenants regarding the desired operational or structural changes in their shops taking into account the specified terms and conditions of the mall.
  • Liaise and attend meetings with the company’s legal advisors, the Land Registry, as well as the municipality, industry and government officials for both routine and one-off projects related to the mall and its tenants, including structural alterations in mall shops or mall building, and develop permit-related procedures.
  • Coordinate administrative office functions, such as: liaison with the company’s external IT company when needed to initiate possible server upgrades, the creation of digital data rooms and implementation of other routine IT office needs. Plan and adjust monthly the working hours schedule for the information desk staff depending on the needs of the mall.
  • Responsible for the constant monitoring of the mall’s tenants’ insurance policies log and communication with them prior to the expiration of their insurance to ensure that the company’s log is constantly updated with the renewed insurance policies.
  • Liaise with the mall’s own insurance company on insurance-related matters related to the mall’s shops and area overall.
  • Be up to date with government and industry decrees and directives related to the mall’s operations and ensure implementation of, and adherence to such decrees and directive by the mall tenants and associates.
  • Maintain up to date records at all times of all tenants’ License Agreements, Addendums, Letters, Insurance Policies and/or other documents.
  • Maintain up to date records at all times of corporate documents related to the mall companies, i.e. title deeds, building permit status and general statutory documents issued from the Registrar of Companies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Holder of a University degree.
  • Previous working experience of at least 3 years in a similar position, ideally within an international retail company.
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Computer Literate (Word, Excel and Adobe Reader).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
