On behalf of our Client, a very well-established Family Office with International Operations, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Legal Counsel – Governance & Compliance to be based in Larnaca. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the day-to-day governance and administration of trust and corporate structures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Draft and maintain board minutes, trustee minutes, resolutions, governance records and corporate documentation.
  • Coordinate board, shareholder and trustee decision-making processes and ensure accurate implementation of decisions.
  • Oversee corporate compliance obligations, statutory filings and maintenance of corporate records.
  • Manage UBO Register filings and related reporting requirements.
  • Support AML, KYC, due diligence and internal compliance procedures.
  • Liaise with external legal, tax, fiduciary, banking and professional advisers.
  • Review commercial agreements and provide practical legal support on day-to-day matters.
  • Assist with restructurings, investment-related projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Utilise AI and legal technology tools to prepare customised minutes, governance documentation, compliance reports and other legal documents.
  • Drive process improvements through automation, technology and efficient governance practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Qualified lawyer with approximately 3–5 years' post-qualification experience.
  • Experience in corporate governance; company administration; trust structures; fiduciary services; compliance and related areas.
  • Strong drafting and organisational skills.
  • Working knowledge of Cyprus corporate compliance requirements, AML procedures and UBO Register obligations.
  • Basic understanding of cross-border structures and international tax considerations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and business judgment.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and technology to improve productivity and document quality.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €45,000 – €50,000 Gross Per Annum.
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
  • 12 salaries plus Performance Bonus.

  • 100% office based role.
  • Monday – Friday (08:00 – 17:00).
