On behalf of our client, a well-established and well-known portfolio management company, GRS are seeking a Legal Enforcement Team Leader to join their team in Nicosia. The Legal Enforcement Team Leader will be setting KPIs to the members of the Team in co-operation with the responsible Manager and communicating them clearly to the Officers of the Team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that any new workload is evenly allocated to Team members.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of the letters (pretermination and termination) as well as the termination of the accounts.
  • Review, approve and sign the pretermination/termination letters prepared by the Team members, ensuring that the appropriate templates are used, primarily with regards to the Portfolio in which the specific account belongs.
  • Verify the correctness of reconstructed statements prepared for lawsuit filing purposes by the responsible Unit.
  • Review the documentation which has been prepared for the filing of lawsuits and decide on the allocation to external Law Firms on a timely manner.
  • Maintain the registry of new lawsuit allocation and ensure that new cases are allocated to the Law Firms in the panel of the Company, based on the approved allocation methodology.
  • Monitor the correctness of termination of accounts in the system. Take immediate action to reverse any wrongful termination.
  • Ensure that all the information received from external associates regarding the filing of new lawsuits, is accurately and timely recorded in the Company’s systems by Legal Enforcement Officers.
  • Make sure that all the requested documents from Court, are submitted correctly and timely by Legal Enforcement Officers
  • Be responsible to prepare reports when requested by Management with regards to Legal Enforcement Operations, in co-operation with the Reporting Team of the Department.
  • Have close cooperation with the Loan Management Departments for the correct registration of the legal process and for alignment with regards to any termination / lawsuit filing campaigns.
  • Be updated and implement the regulations/procedures and circulars that govern the work of the Department in order to comply with the Company’s Policies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Banking or any other relevant background
  • Minimum of five years in a managerial position with strong knowledge of banking rules, regulations and legal documentation is a must
  • Strong commercial awareness, ability to work well under pressure and efficiently manage time and priorities
  • Excellent managerial skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and writing
  • Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken
