GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading international organisation within the Oil, Gas and Energy sector and currently seeking an experienced Logistics Base Manager to join an upcoming project in Cyprus. This is an exciting opportunity to work on an innovative project, with the position offered on a temporary contract basis for approximately 12–24 months. The successful candidate must speak fluent Greek & English with a minimum of 6–10 years’ experience in logistics, warehouse, material management, port/base operations, or offshore logistics support. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and supervise all activities within the Logistic Base to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous support of offshore operations.

Manage warehousing, yard operations, material handling, cargo preparation, loading/unloading, and material dispatch activities.

Coordinate logistics contractors, marine logistics interfaces, and operational stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with Company procedures, contractual requirements, and HSE standards.

Ensure material availability, traceability, operational readiness, and performance reporting.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent.

Minimum 6–10 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, material management, port/base operations, or offshore logistics support.

Previous experience in Oil & Gas, offshore operations, marine logistics, or drilling support activities.

Experience in coordinating logistics contractors and operational teams.

Good knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, cargo management, vessel loading/unloading activities, and HSE requirements.

Experience in coordinating and supervising lifting operations, including the safe use of cranes, forklifts, lifting accessories, and cargo handling equipment.

Knowledge of SAP MM or equivalent ERP systems.

Fluent in both Greek & English
