GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established hospitality and lifestyle brand in the UAE to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager. This is a fully remote, consulting-based opportunity for a commercially minded marketing professional who enjoys building brands, driving growth, and working across multiple international markets. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of marketing, brand positioning, social media, and PR across a diverse portfolio that includes hotels, branded residences, restaurants, cafés, fast-casual concepts, and beach clubs operating across several international markets. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys both developing strategy and executing it. Initially, you will personally lead marketing activity across the portfolio while assessing the current landscape, identifying opportunities, and creating scalable processes and structures to support future growth. As the portfolio expands, you will play a key role in building and leading the wider marketing function. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will have significant influence over the group's marketing strategy and brand development, working closely with operational teams and external partners to ensure consistent, commercially focused execution across every market.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to each brand, property, and market, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
- Evaluate the current marketing performance of each business and identify opportunities to strengthen brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue generation.
- Own the day-to-day management of social media across multiple brands, including content planning, publishing, community engagement, and performance optimisation.
- Maintain a consistent brand identity while adapting messaging and campaigns to suit local markets and customer audiences.
- Develop and execute PR initiatives, building relationships with relevant media, publications, influencers, and industry partners across multiple regions.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse key metrics, and provide regular reporting with clear recommendations for improvement.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, photographers, designers, and content creators, ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with brand standards.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure marketing activity reflects current business priorities, promotions, and customer experiences.
- Identify opportunities to improve marketing processes, technology, and reporting while supporting the long-term growth of the marketing function.
- Build and mentor local marketing resources as the business continues to expand.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven experience in a senior Marketing, Brand, PR, or Communications role within hospitality, lifestyle, food & beverage, luxury retail, or another multi-site consumer-focused business.
- Demonstrable experience managing marketing across multiple brands, locations, or international markets.
- Strong hands-on experience managing social media platforms, content planning, and digital campaigns.
- Experience developing brand positioning, increasing brand awareness, and delivering commercially successful marketing initiatives.
- Previous responsibility for PR activities, media relations, and brand exposure.
- Experience managing external agencies and creative partners.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance creativity and business objectives.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve quickly.
- Confident analysing marketing performance and using data to inform decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
