An established island-wide public utility company is working with GRS Recruitment to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Limassol to keep and maintain Cyprus’s vital water supply. For this role we are looking for someone to support the maintenance team at the site and have 1 year’s experience working in a similar industrial environment although this is not essential as full onsite training will be given to the successful candidate. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Execution of scheduled maintenance tasks as required, always as part of the Maintenance Team.
- Maintenance of chemical tanks, receiving deliveries, and storing them in designated storage areas.
- Support in emergency situations or for critical and urgent repairs.
- Maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment in good working condition, and ensuring the workshop remains organized and clean.
- Immediate notification to the Maintenance Foreman and/or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in case of any abnormalities during work.
- Availability and flexibility to work at other company locations when needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Graduate of Technical School/College/Higher Education with a Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1 year of work experience in a similar industrial environment.
- Relevant technical skills.
- Ability to collaborate with different technical teams.
- Analytical skills and the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
Fluency in English
MUST be living in Cyprus with valid work visa
