On behalf of our Client, a well-established International Company, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Mid-Senior Backend Developer to be based in Nicosia or Limassol office (Hybrid working model). If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Mid-Senior Backend Developer role Nicosia or Limassol office.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will be part of a professional agile team with focus on business applications.
  • We utilize a modern tech stack and operate our Kotlin and Java applications on a Kubernetes cluster in Azure and AWS cloud service.
  • We use REST and GraphQL to connect to our Angular and React based frontends.
  • Our team strives for high quality, testable and maintainable code.
  • We are eager to help and coach workmates and participate actively in driving product evolution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • You like to explore and learn new technologies.
  • You like pragmatic solutions and employ the best tools for a given problem.
  • You have profound experience as a Kotlin/Java developer or in other JVM language.
  • You have strong experience building, testing and operating applications using Spring Boot. 
  • You thrive on the DevOps mindset and have experience with public clouds like Azure or AWS and accompanying technologies like Kubernetes, Grafana, Kibana.
  • You have experience with relational databases for example Postgres and with NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Knowledge of ElasticSearch or Kafka is a plus.
  • You have built Jenkins CI/CD pipelines before.
  • Designing, implementing and operating API is part of your daily work.
  • You have strong communication skills and you’re fluent in English.
  • You collaborate well within a team and are committed to the whole software development life cycle in an agile team.
