On behalf of our Client, an innovative Company specializing in data automation, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer to be based in Larnaca (Hybrid working model). MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and maintain backend systems using modern frameworks (Node.js, Python, or Go).

Architect and manage infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).

Develop clean and secure RESTful APIs.

Optimise database performance (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Redis).
-
Collaborate with front-end developers and data engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
3 plus years of backend development experience.
-
Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Strong AWS knowledge (infrastructure design, scaling, monitoring).
-
Experience with Docker, CI/CD, Git.
-
Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and independent mindset.
