A leading IT company is searching for an experienced IT Network & Security Specialist to join their team in Malta. Your skills will be put to the test in assisting with research, design, implementation, and support of client networks as well as security solutions. The perfect candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience in a networks or security role and industry systems certifications such as CCNA, CEH or CISM. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in research, design, implementation, and support of client networks as well as security solutions

Diagnose, troubleshoot and follow-up escalated technical issues to completion

Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers
-
Ongoing review and update of network, security and related systems documentation
-
Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time, to minimise any disruption to client and internal systems

Liaise with other systems team members for various projects
-
Provide remote or onsite support as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE

2-3 years’ experience in a networks or security role

A bachelor’s degree in IT (an advantage). Still, we understand that not all skills are gained in the classroom

Industry systems certifications such as CCNA, CEH, CISM or similar technologies are considered an asset
-
An effective and concise communicator in both written and spoken English

Holder of a valid driving B license
