This successful candidate is responsible for leading and managing the Network & Security function across multiple international locations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Build and lead a high-performing Network & Security team (currently 6 FTEs)

Define and implement the strategic roadmap for network infrastructure and cybersecurity

Act as the primary authority on infrastructure security, network architecture, and compliance matters

Oversee secure operations for multi-office networks (Cyprus, Dubai, Jordan, Kenya)

Manage vendor relationships and ensure high service availability across internal systems

Lead network segmentation, secure access control, and SASE adoption

Drive threat detection and response through IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and pentesting initiatives

Conduct regular internal vulnerability assessments and maintain incident response protocols

Ensure full compliance with GDPR, CySEC, DORA, and ISO 27001

Collaborate with Compliance & Risk to perform audits and maintain security documentation

Partner with DevOps, developers, and product teams to secure cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Serverless, etc.)
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
5+ years in network engineering and/or cybersecurity roles
-
3+ years in a team leadership or managerial capacity

Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (e.g. Palo Alto), SASE, IDS/IPS, and secure network architecture

Proven track record in cloud security (AWS, Kubernetes, Serverless environments)

In-depth understanding of compliance frameworks: CySEC, GDPR, ISO 27001, DORA

Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCNP Security

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and crisis leadership skills
