GRS are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join an IT company in Larnaca for the position of Network Support Engineer where you will be responsible for network administration, engineering, technical support, troubleshooting, and network security tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the company's global network infrastructure. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor network performance, availability, and reliability

Perform regular maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups

Ensure network security by implementing firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures
-
Diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, latency, and outages
-
Respond to and resolve customer support tickets related to network problems
-
Collaborate with other IT teams, including system administrators and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration and operation of the network

Configure and deploy network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
-
Manage IP address allocation, DNS settings, and other network configurations
-
Implement network changes in accordance with change management policies
-
Maintain up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures

Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and trends
-
Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for recurring issues
-
Coordinate with third-party vendors for network hardware and software support
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Network Administration and Network Engineering skills
-
Technical Support and Troubleshooting abilities
-
Strong understanding of Network Security
-
Experience in managing and maintaining network infrastructure
-
Knowledge of routing and switching protocols, vLANs, TCP/IP, Port channels, vPC, fibre connections, WAN/LAN
-
Certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ are a plus
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
