GRS Recruitment are working in partnership with an established international telecommunications provider offering connectivity and infrastructure solutions across Europe and Asia. Our client is currently seeking to recruit a NOC Shift Engineer for their Limassol office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing technical support, monitoring network operations, and resolving service incidents. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitor the telecommunications network and ensure seamless operation in accordance with scheduled loads.
  • Receive, log, and manage incoming user requests related to technical services.
  • Provide first-line support and technical consultation to users with professionalism and urgency.
  • Troubleshoot incidents and service disruptions efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with users regarding incident status and resolution timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to resolve technical issues.
  • Deliver comprehensive end-to-end support with a strong focus on user satisfaction.
  • Work on complex technical cases in collaboration with relevant technical teams.
  • Maintain a high standard of service and ensure issues are followed through to resolution.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by the management team.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Vocational or higher education in Telecommunications or a related technical discipline.
  • Fluency in Russian and professional working proficiency in English (B2+).
  • Strong knowledge of PC operations and general technical support tools.
  • Good understanding of data transmission networks, IPv4/IPv6, and last-mile connectivity.
  • Previous experience in a Helpdesk or Service Desk environment.
  • High level of stress tolerance and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Clear, confident communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving ability.
