GRS Recruitment are looking for an Operations Coordinator to play a vital role in supporting our clients' operations, ensuring seamless coordination between vessels, clients, port agents, and internal teams. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring and updating operational schedules and vessel movements.

Coordinating embarkations, disembarkations, and security team replacements.

Liaising daily with vessel Masters, port agents, security teams, and clients.

Tracking operational progress and ensuring all stakeholders receive timely updates.

Managing operational correspondence via email and WhatsApp.

Preparing weekly and monthly operational reports and performance updates.

Monitoring onboard security equipment and inspection records.
-
Ensuring all operational documentation complies with ISO and MLC requirements.

Supporting management with operational reporting, compliance, and continuous process improvements.

Assisting with additional operational duties as required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

College Diploma, relevant qualification, or equivalent professional experience.

Previous experience within maritime, shipping, logistics, security operations, or a similar operational environment is highly advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The ability to communicate professionally with people from diverse nationalities and cultures.

Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.

A proactive mindset with the confidence to take initiative.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/Operations software.

A solid understanding of STCW 95 and MLC 2006 requirements.

Experience using maritime operational systems such as PANGEA is highly desirable.
SALARY & BENEFITS

€18,200 - €23,400 Gross Per Annum
