  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all functional areas.
  • Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure all technology products meet strict quality standards and regulatory requirements before reaching customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating favourable terms and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, tracking expenses and implementing cost-saving measures where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and concerns related to operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety in the workplace, adhering to health and safety regulations and implementing safety measures.
  • Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience in vessel performance, operations management, preferably within the technology or maritime industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Familiarity with technology products and their applications in the maritime sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for operations management.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for business purposes.
