An engineering company with focus on the design and manufacture of plants and equipment for the FMCG sector, are working with GRS to recruit an Operations Manager for their Nicosia operation. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager in the manufacturing industry, with fluency in both Greek and English. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production, supply chain management, inventory and quality control.

Developing, overseeing, and monitoring budget and production targets.

Analyzing production data and creating manufacturing reports to identify any problems or potential improvement areas.

Maintaining an accurate inventory of materials and products.
-
Ensuring that all staffing needs are met in a timely manner, and that all employees have the necessary training and resources to do their jobs effectively.

Coordinating with other departments, such as finance, technical and sales.

Developing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth running of manufacturing production and materials flow.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience of a minimum of 5 years as Operations Manager in manufacturing.

Strong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and motivate a team.

Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills.
-
In-depth knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in using manufacturing management software (e.g., ERP systems, AUTOCAD for P&IDs etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Team oriented to coordinate different departments.

Fluent in Greek and English languages.
