The Operations Manager will lead a group of customer support and trade support analysts in delivering a high-quality service to customers.  The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in providing leadership and support for end-to-end projects and ensuring the successful implementation of operational plans and strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining their customers’ trading systems and platforms. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Develop and implement the operational strategy aligned with the Head of Retail’s vision
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team (client services, trade and platform support)
  • Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with our customers and their internal teams in providing a high-quality service
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing payment partners and operational/ platform partners
  • Collaborate with customer’s senior leadership, IT, Risk and Compliance on strategic projects
  • Ensure optimal performance of trading platforms (MT4/MT5, proprietary systems, APIs). Conduct testing and validation of trading platform functionalities
  • Manage trading engines, aggregation bridges, and LP connectors
  • Coordinate with liquidity providers, clearing agents, and counterparties
  • Monitor and hedge company-level exposures in collaboration with Risk
  • Ensure all trading activities adhere to UK and rest of world regulatory requirements and the customer’s respective risk frameworks
  • Collaborate with analytics and marketing to generate insights for trading behaviour and campaign impact
  • Support the customer support team with client queries and escalations, ensuring high service standards and consumer duty
  • Work alongside the customer’s client onboarding team to ensure efficient and compliant processes and be the primary point of contact with Compliance to resolve any onboarding and client payment queries
  • Liaise with the customer’s payments and settlements teams, oversee efficient handling of deposits, withdrawals, and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with IT to maintain and enhance trading and operational systems
  • Support with the implementation of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and client experience in regional and overseas markets
  • Implement automation and analytics to improve speed, accuracy, and resilience
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven leadership in operations within regulated financial environments
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, CFD/Spread Betting and securities, and trading operations
  • Completion of MetaQuotes Certification Program and/ or regulatory exams include Cysec, desirable
  • Strong grasp of trade lifecycle, risk controls, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational execution
  • Excellent proficiency in the English language, both verbal and written. Proficiency in any additional language is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to learn and navigate new systems/ platforms quickly and efficiently
  • Able to work on shifts (morning and evening shift) and over weekends when requested.
  • Strong knowledge of MetaQuotes software, as well as MT4, MT5 and Web terminals
  • Knowledge of back-office allocations and accounts setup for trading Shares, CFDs and FX
