As an Operations Operator, you'll be at the heart of a 24/7 operations centre, ensuring the seamless coordination of security personnel, vessel operations, and critical communications. Working closely with internal teams, security guards, port agents, and vessels worldwide, you'll help maintain operational excellence while delivering exceptional support. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of security personnel across multiple departments, including embarkations, disembarkations, and replacements, ensuring all activities are completed in line with operational procedures.
  • Accurately report completed personnel movements to the relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage operational communications across email, messaging platforms, and group chats, ensuring timely responses and escalation where required.
  • Support the operational and HR needs of security personnel, including travel arrangements, transportation, documentation, contracts, and related logistics.
  • Operate the 24/7 Operations Call Centre outside office hours, responding professionally to enquiries and escalating issues to the Duty Officer or relevant department when necessary.
  • Coordinate after-hours operational requests, including flight changes, travel arrangements, and communication with security personnel, port agents, and vessels.
  • Monitor inspection processes, identify discrepancies, coordinate additional inspections when required, and ensure relevant departments are informed.
  • Gather and communicate critical information relating to incidents onboard vessels or at ports, ensuring the Duty Officer receives timely updates.
  • Assist with urgent medical cases and coordinate requests for essential provisions and support for security personnel.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Duty Officer throughout each shift, providing updates and seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Support operational projects, including Seal Check operations and uploading relevant operational documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain operational documentation, including daily reports, evaluation reports, embarkation and disembarkation records, and other administrative tasks.
  • Deliver comprehensive shift handovers, ensuring continuity of operations and clear communication of outstanding matters.
  • Carry out additional operational duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Diploma, college qualification, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant professional training is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organised.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Good computer literacy.
  • Strong coordination and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Calm and professional under pressure.
  • Analytical thinker with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Human-centred approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Knowledge of operational systems, protocols, or maritime security operations will be considered an advantage.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €19,500 - €27,300 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
