On behalf of our client, GRS are seeking to recruit an experienced Pathology Specialist to work within a highly specialised pathology department in Denmark’s Capital Region. The Department offers a well-functioning and streamlined laboratory, including a molecular biology laboratory with many options. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Pathologist and be interested in gastrointestinal pathology. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing specimen analysis by using laboratory tools and equipment, in order to study samples and perform tests to accurately analyze bodily fluids and tissue specimens.
  • Look for abnormalities in samples that evidence disease and conveying this information to the relevant medical practitioner.
  • Use checklists, medical software, and retesting to get thorough and precise results.
  • Suggest potential treatment options.
  • Write pathology reports detailing specimens tested, results of tests, and the final diagnosis.
  • Undertake research to improve identification and testing methods and finding innovative ways to treat disease.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • An EU approved degree/certification
  • Specialized in Pathology
  • Experience and interest in gastrointestinal pathology
  • Fluent in English
