On behalf of our client, a leading Payment Solutions company, GRS Recruitment are seeking a Payments Operations Specialist to support the daily operations of a growing payments business in Larnaca. This role is responsible for transaction monitoring, reconciliations, settlement processes, and operational reporting. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with large volumes of payment data. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and reconcile transaction data across payment platforms and acquiring partners.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, including failed transactions, refunds, chargebacks, and settlement variances.
- Liaise with banking and acquiring partners to investigate and resolve outstanding issues.
- Validate incoming settlement funds against transaction records.
- Prepare settlement reports and supporting documentation for payment processing.
- Manage merchant account administration and operational reporting within internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records of reconciliations, exceptions, and pending investigations.
- Provide operational data and reporting support to internal stakeholders.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Previous experience in payments, PSP operations, settlements, reconciliations, fintech, or a similar operational environment.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to manage workloads independently and follow through on unresolved items.
- Organized, methodical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced payments environment.
- Strong eye for accuracy, enjoy analysing transactional data, and can effectively manage operational processes from reconciliation through to settlement.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €25, 000 - €35, 000 Gross Per Annum.
