A well-established engineering services provider is seeking a Payroll Assistant to join its team on a full-time basis for a fixed 6-month term. With a workforce of over 250 employees and continued growth, the company offers a dynamic working environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Record employee hours worked and maintain accurate attendance data

Distribute, collect, and verify employee timekeeping records

Provide accurate time and attendance data to the payroll department for processing

Monitor and track employee attendance and absences

Support the payroll department in executing the payroll process

Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and corporate guidelines

Report timekeeping discrepancies or system issues

Maintain complete and accurate employee records

Assist with employee benefits management

Provide general administrative, HR, and reception support as needed
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience and familiarity with timekeeping systems, software, and databases (preferred)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

A school Diploma or equivalent (considered an asset)

European passport or valid working permission for Malta
SALARY AND BENEFITS

€20,000 - €23,000 Gross Per Annum
