GRS Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a Permanent Payroll Coordinator with a reputable Call Center company based in Malta. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compilation, inputting & managing of payroll according to the Client’s requirements.
- Compiling and Submission of VAT returns.
- Compiling and Submission of Tax returns together with corresponding P&L account.
- Computing of Provisional Tax.
- Updating employee data including salary changes, tax status changes, engagement/termination dates, bank accounts and any other statutory records.
- Liaising with employees and any concerns and ensuring appropriate action is taken;
- Compiling statistical reports to be delivered to Management and/or The Client according to such requirements;
- Identifying and reporting any irregularities;
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management including any possible assistance with back office general duties (some of which are related to airline revenue accounting);
- Ensure accuracy in the work performance and meeting of service level agreements (SLAs) and deadlines;
- Support all external and internal audits and reviews, as necessary, including timely resolution of any issues.
- Liaise with Back Office Senior Coordinator in implementing new systems/procedures to identify any shortcomings and long-term planning/vision strategy to increase efficiency.
- Any other duties as assigned by Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- The ideal candidate should have at least 1-2 years’ experience in payroll (use of Indigo is ideal)
- Good command of Maltese and English language spoken and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, payroll systems, and database software.
- Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills are mandatory.
- Candidates should have a good knowledge of the Maltese payroll legislation.
- Candidates should ideally have basic knowledge and awareness about Information Security
