A leading Employment Service Provider is looking for a Payroll Executive to join their team in Malta. You will provide payroll services to their offices across multi-jurisdictions (with assistance from outsourced Tax companies). The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Payroll Executive role and ideally be experienced using Shireburn. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Group Payroll Team with their monthly payroll creation, reconciliation and administration
  • Accuracy and timely running of international payrolls
  • Liaise  and manage external payroll teams located in each country of operation
  • Completion of all breakdowns, reconciliations and payroll related files
  • Ensure all clients, contractors, employees receive relevant payslips and statements
  • Maintain communication with clients and respond to client and employee queries
  • Liaise with Contracts and Accounts departments as necessary
  • Keep payroll records accurate and complete by necessary deadlines
  • Ensure timesheets and holiday/sickness trackers are sent out and received each month
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • ​At least 2 years2 experience in Payroll / similar role or a relevant qualification
  • Positive, pro-active approach to work, with a flexible, can-do attitude
  • A sense of responsibility and aspire to be the best at what you do
  • Fluent English - further European languages would be advantageous
  • Microsoft office literate, advanced Excel knowledge
  • High attention to all details
  • Good problems solving skills, time management and organizational skills
  • Able to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Ideally proficient in using Shireburn
