MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Manage monthly payroll processing using the Indigo payroll system.
  • Prepare payslips, monthly FS5 and annual FS7 returns, along with any other payroll reports as required.
  • Handle and assist other departments with payroll audits and surveys as needed.
  • Ensure payroll records comply with tax laws, social security contributions, and other statutory requirements.
  • Handle claims to obtain social security funds on behalf of the company, including maternity and paternity benefits.
  • Assist employees with queries regarding compensation, taxes, benefits, or deductions.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee information across all HR platforms.
  • Provide administrative support across various HR functions.
  • Prepare employment letters, monitor leave and attendance, and support HR policy implementation.
  • Maintain data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems at all times.
  • Contribute to the development of the HR department’s goals and objectives.
  • Support the team with team-building and social events.
  • Perform any other tasks delegated by Senior Management.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Payroll certification and/or a diploma in Human Resources, Accounts or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Payroll/HR, or a similar role.
  • Experience working with payroll software, preferably Indigo Shireburn.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability handle confidential information with tact and diplomacy.
  • A people-oriented professional with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office management tools.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Capable of working under pressure, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities.
