As part of their on-going growth and success in the field of Aluminium offering system solutions and as facade specialists in the Middle East and Africa region, our client is seeking a thriving and detail-oriented Payroll Officer / Accountant to join their multinational team in Limassol.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Payroll Management: Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees, adhering to relevant local regulations and tax laws.
  • Recording Suppliers’ Invoices: Accurately record and manage invoices from suppliers, ensuring they are matched with purchase orders and contracts.
  • Recording Payments Issued for Suppliers: Maintain accurate records of all payments issued, ensuring timely disbursement and correct documentation.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
  • Recording Petty Cash Expenses: Monitor and record all petty cash expenses, ensuring proper allocation to accounts.
  • Creating Purchase Orders (PO) for Subcontractors: Manage and issue purchase orders for subcontractors, ensuring correct documentation and alignment with project budgets.
  • General Ledger Entries: Maintain accurate entries in the general ledger, including adjustments, payments, and other financial transactions.
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
  • Proven experience in payroll and accounting, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Cyprus tax regulations, Social Insurance, and payroll systems.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of payroll and accounting best practices.
  • Fluent in English
