GRS Recruitment is looking for a proactive and organized Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our client’s team and support the reliability and efficiency of their industrial operations in Limassol. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial maintenance and strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. This role involves coordinating maintenance activities, supervising technical teams, monitoring equipment performance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through effective maintenance planning and CMMS management. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assigning, explaining, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance tasks carried out by the team (Technicians and Workers).
- Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical equipment daily, as well as during shutdowns and major maintenance periods.
- Monitoring equipment performance and availability, with the goal of reducing breakdowns and unplanned downtime and achieving continuous improvements.
- Entering and updating data in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–3 years of experience in industrial maintenance
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems (e.g. gear reducers, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems)
- Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal.
