GRS Recruitment are seeking an accomplished Product and Portfolio Manager to join our client’s team in Limassol. In this role, you will leverage your marketing and product management expertise to enhance maritime operations through innovative technology solutions. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for driving business growth in a fast-paced, scaling environment. You will play a key role in refining our business models and expanding our product portfolio to support our sales and delivery teams, while championing a product-centric operating model.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and communicate the strategic vision for the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall company goals.

Engage with customers to gain insights, validate product desirability, and optimize user experience in maritime applications.

Lead the transition to a product-centered operating model, implementing processes and governance within a product development framework.

Build organizational capability by mentoring new and current team members in product management practices.

Collaborate with architects and product owners to gather costs and prioritize investments, aligning with revenue goals to ensure profitability.

Conduct market research to understand customer needs, trends, and competitive dynamics that inform product strategy, technology choices, and partnerships.

Oversee product development from ideation through to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams.

Develop and maintain a product roadmap, aligning features and improvements with customer needs and business objectives.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure product alignment and success.

Define and monitor KPIs to track product performance, driving continuous improvement.

Efficiently manage product budgets and resources to maximize business impact.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in product management, with experience leading a product line or portfolio, introducing new products, and growing market share.

Product Management and relevant industry certifications are a plus.

Educated to bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Familiarity with maritime technology, including PMS, navigation systems, fuel management, and communication technologies (e.g., V-Sat, Iridium, LEO), is beneficial.

Knowledge of related industries such as logistics, finance, or emerging tech trends is also valuable.
