Our client, a well-standing construction company is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager with a background in Civil Engineering to join their team in Latsi area. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning and managing real estate projects from inception to completion. You will monitor progress and technical performance and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned properties. This role involves supporting the project team, creating budgets and timelines, and ensuring projects progress according to plan.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for developing and implementing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate project activities and support project teams, including contractors and vendors.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
- Monitor project progress and performance, and help address issues as they arise, both during construction and after project delivery.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on project progress and address concerns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring projects stay within budget.
- Help develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Technical Manager to ensure technical requirements are met.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in project management or a related role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of regulations and building codes related to construction projects.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Fluency in both Greek and English, written and spoken.
