A company providing renewable energy and other services is searching for a Project Manager to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for the successful running of company ongoing projects related to M&E and required to assist, direct and monitor installers’ activity on site, prepare job material and tools in a timely manner, and monitor all goods/tools delivered and returned from sites. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare Material and tools for execution of works

Monitor and keep updated records of material and tools being used and returned from site

Liaise and attend meetings with Department Manager to make sure all material purchased from suppliers is in hand in a timely manner, and to allocate technicians/installers to respective works as required.

Prepare necessary station designs under the supervision of the Department Manager

Manage a team of technicians/installers working on site by explaining installation requirements and expectations, monitoring their work and making sure they are done in a timely manner and to company standards

Liaising with suppliers for orders, designs, technical assistance and guidance when required

Report to Fuel Department Manager any issues on site, that affect the efficiency and effectiveness of running projects, and any work amendments required during the execution of the job.

Liaising with customers throughout the project to keep them updated on the progress of work, to discuss or inform any changes required by customers or otherwise.

Attend project meetings when required

Liaising with engineers, architects, subcontractors and other necessary personnel for the successful running of works

Liaise with the drawing office for the successful execution of all necessary drawings

Be involved in project administrative tasks as directed by the Department Manager, such as handling and preparing necessary documentation for the successful execution of the project.

Be knowledgeable and stay up to date on service station software and hardware

Assist maintenance team when necessary, with maintenance works required on sites

Assist technicians on site with work being carried out as necessary

Attend events, conferences, training, factory visits both locally and abroad when required
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Ability to follow instructions/guidance and communicate information in a timely and accurate manner

Be in possession of an engineering degree by a recognized local institution (mechanical or electrical engineering)

Experience in engineering projects is a must, preferably in the fuel and/or mechanical and electrical industry.

Be willing to travel for work abroad for short periods

Be proficient in English and preferably Italian. Maltese would be an asset.
