On behalf of our client a prestigious Paphos law practise, GRS are seeking an experienced Property & Corporate Lawyer. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience, skilled in both Property & Corporate Law. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and preparing various agreements related to the acquisition of immovable property, and other legal documents.
  • Handling property purchase and sale transactions, support and attend in closing of transactions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and preparing tenancy, sub tenancy, license agreements and other agreements.
  • Handling client meetings and/or conference calls within scope above.
  • Liaising with local authorities, in all districts, such as land registry office, tax department, civil registry & migration department, ministry of interior, ministry of finance, etc.
  • Liaising with the Company's administrators, agents, external lawyers.
  • Drafting, reviewing of commercial agreements and documentation.
  • Handling, steering and successfully concluding M&A, banking and finance transactions.
  • Drafting legal opinions and legal memos on corporate, commercial and contract law issues.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate and/or commercial matters.
  • Registration and de-registration of companies in various jurisdictions.
  • Preparation and submission of documents with the Cyprus Registrar of Companies.
  • Ensure compliance with AML legislation and carry out due diligence on clients.
  • Opening and closing of bank accounts for companies, including liaison with bankers.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in law and newly qualified Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
  • A minimum of 3 years post qualified experience, with skill in both Property & Corporate Law.
  • Total fluency in Greek & English (both written & spoken) is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in computer packages, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to meet tight deadlines, multitask and work in a challenging work environment.
  • Strong team player.
