The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal services related to property transactions and probate matters, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations, and delivering high-quality legal advice to clients. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist clients with buying, selling, and leasing properties, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including sale agreements, lease agreements, and construction contracts.

Conduct due diligence on property transactions to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.

Advise clients on property financing options and prepare related documentation.

Handle disputes related to property transactions, including boundary issues, landlord-tenant disputes, and breaches of contract.

Advise clients on estate planning, including the drafting and execution of wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.

Assist with the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate or letters of administration.

Manage the distribution of assets in accordance with the decedent’s will or the laws of intestacy.

Represent clients in probate court proceedings, including disputes over wills, trusts, and estate administration.

Provide guidance on tax implications and strategies for minimizing tax liabilities in estate planning and administration.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university; a Master’s degree (LLM) or specialization in Property or Probate Law is preferred.

Admitted to practice law in Cyprus.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property and probate law, preferably within a law firm environment.

Strong knowledge of Cyprus property and probate laws and regulations.

Proven track record of handling complex property transactions and probate matters.

Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity and professional ethics.

Ability to manage multiple cases and projects simultaneously.
