A Cyprus-based Family Office is seeking a highly professional Protection Driver to provide secure transportation and discreet close protection services for family members and employees. This role combines advanced driving expertise with strong security awareness to ensure safety, confidentiality, and minimal disruption to daily routines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide safe, secure, and comfortable transportation for family members and colleagues using advanced defensive and precision driving techniques

Plan, assess, and adapt primary and alternative routes in real time, applying continuous risk assessment and situational awareness

Support daily movements, including business, education, social events, and travel with flexibility and adaptability

Deliver discreet, low-profile close protection in public and private environments, including surveillance awareness and threat detection

Identify potential threats proactively and apply effective risk mitigation strategies

Execute emergency and crisis response procedures (evacuation, communication, first aid/CPR, sheltering)

Make fast, effective decisions under pressure while maintaining safety and control

Coordinate closely with the Family Office, assistants, and security personnel to ensure seamless operations

Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion in line with the “need-to-know” principle

Communicate professionally and respectfully with family members of all ages, maintaining appropriate boundaries and etiquette

Ensure the vehicle is maintained in excellent technical, safety, and presentational condition at all times
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum 3 years of experience in personal security, close protection, or secure mobility
-
Valid driver’s license (Categories B, D) with a clean driving record and proven advanced driving capability

Valid security license/permit issued by relevant authorities

Certifications in Defensive Driving and First Aid / CPR

Strong practical self-defence skills and security-focused mindset

Proven ability in risk assessment, situational awareness, and decision-making under pressure

High level of discretion, confidentiality, reliability, and stress resilience

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and respectful approach

Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset

Flexibility with working hours and willingness to travel

Fluent English

Background in law enforcement, military, or special units is considered an advantage
