GRS Recruitment is working closely with a reputable and well-established law firm in Paphos who are seeking to hire an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to join their growing team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of property-related legal matters, ensuring full compliance with Cyprus property law while safeguarding client interests across all stages of the transaction process. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded legal professional with strong transactional experience to join a respected firm with direct exposure to complex real estate matters and high-value property transactions.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of property-related agreements including Reservation Agreements, Contracts of Sale, and Assignment Agreements

Conduct comprehensive title searches and due diligence on property transactions

Verify property ownership, encumbrances, and legal status of real estate assets

Oversee the lodgement of contracts and related documentation with the Land Registry and relevant authorities

Handle applications relating to Tax Identification Numbers and Reduced VAT schemes

Identify and assess legal risks associated with property acquisitions, sales, and developments

Liaise with local authorities, governmental departments, banks, agents, and external legal counsel

Provide ongoing legal support throughout the full lifecycle of property transactions

Ensure all deadlines and regulatory requirements are consistently met

Maintain accurate case records and ensure high standards of compliance and documentation
CANDIDATE PROFILE

2–5+ years of proven experience in Real Estate / Property Law

Strong background in drafting and negotiating property transaction documentation

Excellent understanding of Cyprus property law and land registry procedures

Experience in handling conveyancing, due diligence, and transactional real estate matters

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication and client-facing skills
