Our client a leading financial services company is looking to hire a Risk and Regulatory Consultant to join the Risk Advisory Team in Malta. The role of the Risk & Regulatory Consultant will be that of supporting banks and other financial institutions with financial regulatory advice as well as governance and risk management practices. If you have the relevant experience and are keen to build on your existing skills, GRS look forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based Risk and Regulatory role.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Enhance his/her understanding of the business of banking (incl. banking regulation) and risk management practices
  • Gain experience by working directly with major banks and other financial institutions in Malta
  • Continuously have on-the-job training to further develop his/her skills
  • Form part of a dynamic team with considerable expertise
  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
  • Develop relationships across the company’s network
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • The ability to embrace new/changes in the sector to be able to provide clients with advice/solutions in this respect
  • Drafting and presenting reports for clients’ senior management
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Team player with a positive mindset
  • Open minded, practical and agile with change
  • Drive to stay up to date with industry and market trends.
  • Up to 2 years work experience within the Financial Services sector, with a strong consulting mind-set 
  • A tertiary qualification in accountancy, banking and finance, management, economics or a related discipline.
