GRS Recruitment is working in partnership with an established financial brokerage group that specializes in Online Trading and Investment Services who are seeking to recruit an Risk Manager to join their growing team. For this position, we are looking for an individual with previous experience in a Trading or Risk Management role ideally within a regulated investment firm. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with and provide assistance to the Head of Risk Management

Oversight of market risk, monitor if exposures are within limits and review of Risk limits

Run stress testing for market risk and report to the Risk Manager

Preparation of regulatory Risk Management reports as well as other related reports

Assist to establish, implement and maintain adequate policies and procedures for the operation of the Risk Management function of the Company including its branches as applicable

Assist to identify risks the firm may be exposed to contribute to the assessment of these risks and mitigation measures, assist to monitor the related risk capacity within the prescribed limits

Assist the Risk Manager and the Senior Management to establish, implement, and maintain adequate internal control mechanisms designed to secure compliance with decisions and procedures pertaining to the RM.

Assist in the Risk and Control Assessment

Risk reporting tailored to the relevant audience and Building risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematical subject

Solid experience within a regulated firm

Deep experience and understanding of regulatory capital, including the ICARA, stress testing and past direct exposure to the Cyprus financial regulator

Demonstrable understanding of operational risk, including cyber and business continuity

Experience in undertaking Third Party reviews

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to quickly process information and relate that to the workings of the firm

Financial management, particularly capital and liquidity management
