GRS Recruitment is working on behalf of a leading international commodities organisation in Limassol to recruit a Risk Officer. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly analytical professional looking to build a career in market risk, hedging, and commodities trading within a dynamic international environment.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support daily hedging operations and position monitoring.
- Maintain and analyse daily risk reports and reconciliations.
- Monitor market trends, volatility, forward curves, spreads, and macroeconomic developments.
- Assist with market analysis, reporting, and risk management activities.
- Support compliance with internal risk policies and audit requirements.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in market risk, commodities, investment banking, or a trading environment is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- A proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented individual with a genuine willingness to learn.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €25,000 - €36,000 Gross Per Annum
- Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
