One of the world’s largest financial services companies, are working with GRS to recruit a Risk Officer to join their Limassol team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in the risk department of a Cyprus Investment Fund. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparing risk management policies and procedures
-
Design implement and monitor risk management policies and procedures for risk monitoring of the adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s risk management policies and procedures and the level of compliance by the company and its relevant persons with the arrangements, processes and mechanisms adopted.

Establish analytical reports and provide monitoring of the company’s risk.

Working on data projects.

Analyse trends.
-
Building databases.
-
Liaising with first line of defense on risk management matters.

Identify/eradicate and prioritise risks
-
Monitoring and implementing procedures, reports to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
-
Ongoing monitoring and oversight of regulatory developments relevant to risk procedures management framework.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A minimum of 1 year’s previous experience in a similar role with a regulated CIF.

Finance / Auditing background.

Academic degree in Finance / Accounting /Business or a related field.

Open to creative solutions & business innovation.

Team player.

Detail oriented and analytical thinking.

A high level of English.

Strong written and verbal skills.
