MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger activities.

Handle inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and costing analysis.

Monitor and record sales transactions and revenue-related accounting entries.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and compliance with applicable regulations.

Perform bank, supplier, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Support internal and external audit processes.

Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.

Identify process improvements and support implementation of accounting controls and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Prior experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced sector is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience with inventory and sales accounting is essential.

Good understanding of taxation and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent) will be considered an advantage.

Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment.
