On behalf of our Client and Audit firm is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant to be based in Larnaca. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the accounting records of international and local companies. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of the accounting records of international and local companies as per the requirements of the firm
- Processing of sales and purchase invoices and of bank transactions
- Reconciliation of Debtors, Creditors and Bank accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of VIES returns
- Preparation of reports as requested
- Payroll Preparation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in the field of bookkeeping
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field will be considered as an advantage
- Knowledge of software Cycom Sofia will be considered as an advantage
- LCCI Higher or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of VAT and TAX
- Good communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Dynamic, driven and self-motivated character
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
