DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with company policies.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, , and fixed asset accounting.

Perform monthly closing processes and ensure timely submission of financial reports.

Support budgeting and forecasting

Monitor and reconcile bank statements, revenue, and expenses across multiple departments and outlets.

Maintain internal controls and compliance with tax and statutory regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.

Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Provide financial insights to management to assist in strategic decision-making.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Evaluate accounting systems and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with hospitality-specific accounting practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACCA qualified (membership in good standing).
-
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3-4 years in the hospitality industry (hotel, resort, restaurant group, etc.) being advantageous.

Strong knowledge of hospitality-specific accounting software (THEOVA).

Good knowledge of Greek & English languages

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
