On behalf of our Client, a well-established Family Office, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Senior Accountant (Family office experience) to be based in Larnaca. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Senior Accountant (Family office experience) role in Larnaca.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the accounting and financial administration of Cyprus group companies.
  • Coordinate and oversee external accountants, auditors, tax advisers and corporate service providers in Cyprus and other jurisdictions.
  • Review management accounts, statutory financial statements and audit deliverables to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts and detailed monthly budget versus actual reporting.
  • Monitor group cash flow and liquidity requirements across multiple entities.
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee payment processing, treasury functions and cash management.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices, expense claims and payment instructions.
  • Assist with the preparation of board reports and financial information for shareholders and directors.
  • Coordinate year-end audits and ensure timely completion of statutory filing obligations.
  • Work closely with legal, tax and compliance advisers on corporate restructurings, acquisitions and investment transactions.
  • Support the implementation of financial controls, policies and reporting systems.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus tax, VAT and other statutory reporting requirements.
  • Participate in process improvements, automation initiatives and the adoption of AI-enabled financial reporting tools
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 7 years' post-qualification experience, preferably within a family office, investment group, corporate services firm or multinational environment (main requirement).
  • Strong experience managing multiple legal entities within a group structure.
  • Experience coordinating external accountants, auditors and professional advisers across different jurisdictions.
  • Excellent understanding of Cyprus corporate accounting, VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Exposure to holding companies, investment structures and cross-border transactions.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern accounting software and ERP systems.
  • High attention to detail with excellent analytical and organisational abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to deal directly with senior executives, advisers and financial institutions.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; Greek will be considered an advantage.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €55,000 - €65,000 Gross Per Annum
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
