DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Keep engagement leaders informed of progress and escalate issues as appropriate
- Complete audit working papers, accurately documenting tests and findings
- Analyse financial data and assess the accuracy of financial statements
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS
- Liaise with clients to gather data and information required for audits, building strong working relationships
- Work within a team to understand client businesses and deliver tailored audit solutions
- Supervise and mentor junior team members
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Proven audit experience at Senior (or experienced Semi-Senior) level
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Working knowledge of GAPSME and IFRS reporting standards
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Ability to manage engagements end-to-end within set timeframes
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €29,000 – €38,000 Gross Per Annum
- Hybrid working — 2 days remote per week after a 6-month probation period
