DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing audits for local and international clients across a range of sectors, including investment funds and holding structures
  • Planning, execution and successful completion of audit engagements in accordance with IFRS and ISAs
  • Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113
  • Preparation and review of corporate tax computations and tax returns
  • Managing engagement timetables and client communication to meet reporting deadlines
  • Supporting, supervising and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
  • Reporting directly to the engagement manager/director on findings and technical matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • ACA/ACCA qualified, or at the final stages of obtaining the qualification
  • Minimum 4–6 years of professional audit experience within an audit firm
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (2:1 / honours or equivalent)
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS and ISAs
  • Experience in the preparation of clients' tax returns and tax computations
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel; working knowledge of Caseware
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Greek and English
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Professionalism, a team-oriented approach and the ability to work to strict reporting deadlines
