DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performing audits for local and international clients across a range of sectors, including investment funds and holding structures

Planning, execution and successful completion of audit engagements in accordance with IFRS and ISAs
-
Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113
-
Preparation and review of corporate tax computations and tax returns
-
Managing engagement timetables and client communication to meet reporting deadlines
-
Supporting, supervising and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
-
Reporting directly to the engagement manager/director on findings and technical matters
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
ACA/ACCA qualified, or at the final stages of obtaining the qualification
-
Minimum 4–6 years of professional audit experience within an audit firm
-
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (2:1 / honours or equivalent)

Very good knowledge of IFRS and ISAs
-
Experience in the preparation of clients' tax returns and tax computations
-
Computer literacy: Word, Excel; working knowledge of Caseware
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Fluent in Greek and English

Strong organisational and communication skills

Professionalism, a team-oriented approach and the ability to work to strict reporting deadlines
