A renowned Legal firm is looking for a Senior Corporate Administrator to join their team in Malta. You will have responsibility/oversight of all processes relating to the efficient running and management of the firm’s corporate services provider. The ideal candidate will be educated to MQF Level 7 and have at least 5 years’ experience in this field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversight of the process for maintaining Malta Business Registry-related online and manual filing systems; the accurate maintenance of client records and company statutory records; and the documenting of funds received and disbursed
  • Attendance and participation at client meetings, professional advisors, banks and authorities
  • Assist the Board of Directors of the corporate service provider in strengthening and growing client relationships
  • Ensuring that all procedural manuals, relevant laws, guidelines, regulations and codes of practice are adhered to in all aspects of the role. i.e. client and non-client related
  • Prepare all necessary documents for management and board of directors’ meetings and carry out follow up work
  • Supporting other members of the firm in corporate and compliance matters
  • Carry out internal compliance reviews and report thereon
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors in handling client company transactions, consideration of supporting documentation, as well as carry out a risk assessment analysis for discussion with the directors and the Group MLRO
  • Coordinate and review the work of more junior team members
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Possess a recognised qualification at MQF level 7 in a relevant financial or legal subject, or a comparable recognised qualification duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) and a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Have a very good command of written and spoken English, and ideally Maltese
  • Possess leadership and people management skills
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multi-task and to meet strict deadlines
  • Exercise excellent analytical and verbal communication skills
  • Have good organisational abilities and possesses well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
  • Demonstrate a collaborative attitude
