A renowned Legal firm is looking for a Senior Corporate Administrator to join their team in Malta. You will have responsibility/oversight of all processes relating to the efficient running and management of the firm’s corporate services provider. The ideal candidate will be educated to MQF Level 7 and have at least 5 years’ experience in this field. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversight of the process for maintaining Malta Business Registry-related online and manual filing systems; the accurate maintenance of client records and company statutory records; and the documenting of funds received and disbursed

Attendance and participation at client meetings, professional advisors, banks and authorities

Assist the Board of Directors of the corporate service provider in strengthening and growing client relationships

Ensuring that all procedural manuals, relevant laws, guidelines, regulations and codes of practice are adhered to in all aspects of the role. i.e. client and non-client related

Prepare all necessary documents for management and board of directors’ meetings and carry out follow up work

Supporting other members of the firm in corporate and compliance matters

Carry out internal compliance reviews and report thereon

Work closely with the Board of Directors in handling client company transactions, consideration of supporting documentation, as well as carry out a risk assessment analysis for discussion with the directors and the Group MLRO

Coordinate and review the work of more junior team members
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Possess a recognised qualification at MQF level 7 in a relevant financial or legal subject, or a comparable recognised qualification duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC) and a minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role

Be computer literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Have a very good command of written and spoken English, and ideally Maltese

Possess leadership and people management skills

Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multi-task and to meet strict deadlines

Exercise excellent analytical and verbal communication skills

Have good organisational abilities and possesses well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
