An established and growing pharmaceutical company in Malta with other operations worldwide are working with GRS to recruit  Senior Customer Support and Supply Chain Specialists, who will daily liaise with the Planning, Quality, Production Departments and Couriers to ensure the dispatch of generic medicine are delivered on time as agreed with Customers.  If you have the necessary experience in Supply Chain, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Malta based Senior Customer Service and Supply Chain Specialist position.
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for ensuring deliveries on time and fully satisfying customer requirements.
  • Coordinates within departments, Business Development and customer, any change in the plan.
  • Assures effective communication regarding issues, concerns and procedures that affect the success in achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures that the customers have clear visibility of the current valid supply plan and monitor the delivery commitments in terms of quantities and timelines, in accordance with Manufacturing Service Agreement terms.
  • Entry of orders and forecasts and keep customer order requests up to date in the ERP system.
  • Acts as the point of contact in order to change management.
  • Communicates customer requests for artwork changes to Material Planner
  • Routinely request updated customer forecasts and reflect these in SAP.
  • Entry and management of Product Data Sheet (PDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
  • Shipment tracker: Assure proper input from QA, production and planning to define the distribution plan.
  • Prepares needed documentation for exporting goods, supporting collections on time.
  • Manage custom clearance processes and enquiries.
  • Acts as the SME for transport related complaints.
  • Assure interface between Business Development, Site and Shipping
  • Point of contact for Freight Forwarders at local level and monitors appointments.
  • Maintain constant communication with customers to support organizing their collections.
  • Process documentation required for sales recognition including the generation of invoices, packing lists, and recording of revenues in SAP.
  • Keep abreast of and follow all current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cgmp) rules as explained in the relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (sops)
  • Follow company safety rules and regulations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in supply chain management
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain or Logistics/Shipping
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing process and supply chain management
  • Proficiency in material management systems, preferably using SAP
  • Strong skills in communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving
  • Agility to adapt according to requirements and implement actions to meet the business demands.
