We are partnering with a leading livestreaming technology company in Limassol to recruit a Senior Java Developer. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Java professionals to work on high-performance, scalable backend systems within a fast-growing, tech-driven environment. As a Senior Java Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of core backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams and helping shape architectural solutions.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of backend services using Java 17+ and modern frameworks.

Build and optimise microservices to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on architecture, design, and operational improvements.

Participate in technical discussions, contribute to coding standards, and help define best practices.

Ensure code quality through automated testing and adherence to CI/CD processes.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Strong experience in backend Java development, ideally within livestreaming, media, or similar high-performance systems.

Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and microservices architecture.

Knowledge of databases, message streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka), and caching technologies (e.g., Redis).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

Russian language skills considered an advantage (most of the Cyprus office speaks Russian).

Fluent in English; excellent communication and teamwork skills.

High attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
