On behalf of our client, a dynamic and innovative fintech company based in Limassol, GRS Recruitment is seeking a talented Senior Operations Lead to take ownership of the core engine powering the B2B fintech and crypto infrastructure. This is a high-impact position where your work directly affects revenue flow, partner relationships, and operational stability.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Take full ownership of day-to-day payment and banking operations
- Build, manage, and optimise PSP and banking infrastructure
- Oversee account setup, integrations, and operational continuity
- Manage end-to-end flows, including:
- Collections & payouts
- Settlements & internal transfers
- Liquidity movements
- Reconciliation processes
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across all transactions
- Lead onboarding with banks and PSPs (KYC, due diligence, documentation)
- Maintain strong working relationships with financial partners
- Act as the operational bridge between providers and internal teams
- Drive key operational initiatives:
- New provider integrations
- Product launches
- Process redesign and optimization
- Collaborate closely with Tech, Product, Compliance, and Finance
- Monitor payment performance and identify bottlenecks
- Implement improvements that increase efficiency and reliability
- Introduce smarter workflows, automation, and reporting
- Work within regulated frameworks and ensure adherence
- Support licensing processes and operational readiness
- Partner with Compliance & Risk on reporting and controls
- Improve and structure internal processes across teams
- Handle escalations and resolve operational issues quickly
- Maintain clear documentation, procedures, and reporting standards
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Extensive experience in payments, banking, fintech, or crypto operations
- Strong understanding of:
- Payment lifecycles
- Transaction monitoring
- Reconciliation processes
- Proven ability to own and improve operational systems end-to-end
- Experience working in regulated environments
- Strong project management skills with cross-functional exposure
- Hands-on mindset
- Ability to balance process ownership and team coordination
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Experience with crypto payments, exchanges, or custody infrastructure
- Exposure to multi-jurisdiction payment setups
- Background in EMI or licensed fintech environments
- Experience supporting licensing or regulatory processes
- Familiarity with AI tools for operational efficiency
- Russian language skills (helpful, not required)
