Our client a performance‑driven digital advertising and technology organisation is seeking a Senior Programmatic Media Buyer (RTB) to own large‑scale real‑time bidding campaigns and shape programmatic strategy across platforms. This is a high‑impact role for a seasoned programmatic specialist who combines strategic depth with technical expertise and a proactive mindset.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of complex RTB/programmatic campaigns across multiple networks and ad formats.

Set up, monitor and refine RTB campaigns, develop advanced bidding strategies and audience frameworks.

Delivering ongoing optimisation to maximise ROI, efficiency, budget pacing and campaign growth.

Conduct deep performance analysis to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities.

Forecast campaign performance and manage pacing to ensure strategic budget allocation.

Collaborate on tracking and measurement architecture (e.g. GA4, postback URLs, attribution models).

Mentor and support junior media buyers, contributing to skill development and best practice adoption.

Work with creative teams to inform data‑driven creative strategy and testing roadmaps.

Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Stay ahead of developments in programmatic advertising, innovation, automation, and tools.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

5+ years’ hands‑on experience in programmatic media buying with a strong RTB skill set.

Proven track record managing large budgets and scaling winning strategies across banner, native, pre‑roll, push and pop‑under formats.

Deep understanding of RTB auctions, bidding logic, and audience segmentation.

Experience with complex tracking implementations including postbacks and server‑to‑server setups.

Strong analytical skillset with advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency; experience with reporting tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) and SQL/BigQuery is an advantage.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex insights into strategic recommendations.

Organised, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
