Our client, a leading construction company specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to join their team in Ireland. Please note that this role is part of an international project, and the successful candidate will be required to relocate to Ireland for the duration of the assignment. Our client is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to support their expanding Water & Wastewater portfolio, delivering full design to operation solutions for key clients.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the delivery of multiple projects, promoting a collaborative team environment
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability standards on-site
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external partners
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (civil, MEICA, process) to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard
- Coordinate design activities in line with PSDP requirements
- Act as PSCS on-site, ensuring all compliance documentation is maintained
- Monitor project performance, manage risks, and implement mitigation measures
- Report on programme, financials, and HSQE performance
- Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and project cashflow
- Support team development, recruitment, and tender activities
- Manage stakeholder feedback and drive continuous improvement
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within water/wastewater
- Proven experience managing civil and MEICA projects
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Project and programme management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve problems under pressure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Full driving licence
