Our client, a well-established accounting and audit firm in Limassol, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Consultant to join their growing tax team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns, tax computations and supporting schedules.
- Conduct research on local and international tax legislation, circulars, double tax treaties and emerging tax developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical input on tax advisory projects, including restructurings, tax due diligence, tax risk assessments and cross-border tax matters.
- Support tax audits by drafting responses, preparing analyses, and liaising with relevant authorities.
- Involved in the preparation of Transfer Pricing studies and other relevant documentation required by the Tax Department.
- Involved in any other tax assignment including VAT reviews and VAT assignments.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Law or a related discipline; a postgraduate degree will be considered a plus.
- Professional qualification in Accounting (ACA/ACCA/CPA) and or Tax (ADIT) or currently pursuing such qualifications.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in tax within a professional services environment with exposure to international tax matters.
- Strong technical knowledge of Cypriot tax legislation and ability to apply it accurately in client engagements.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Greek languages.
