A medium sized Accounting & Advisory firm, with a young and dynamic team is looking for a Senior Tax Executive to join their tax department in Malta. The selected candidate will be required to work without supervision as much as possible after being provided with the necessary training. For this role we are looking for a fully qualified accountant with at least 4 years’ experience working in a similar environment dealing with direct tax matters and duty on documents and transfers. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Preparation of tax computations for corporate and private clients

Preparation and submission to the Commissioner for Revenue of income tax returns, claims for refunds and consolidated income tax returns

Preparation of workings and tax schedules in connection with share transfer agreements, causa mortis declarations and deeds of donations

Liaison with both the Inland Revenue Department and the International Corporate and Tax Unit

Manages correspondence by answering emails and calls
